two handed rods

does any body use a two handed rod, if so what kind, weigth, length and lines, and for what locations. curious about underhand (scandinavian style) casting and also overhead casting on the surf.
Nueces River Outing
Looking for some help from the members that have been to the One Fly before, is it mostly floating or wading, and do we need waders vs just wading shoes?
